I haven't updated my blog in quite a while. This is not because I have nothing to say, but rather too much to say and no words, strength, or desire to do so.
At the beginning of February, my husband suffered a heart attack. Thank God he is ok and we caught it in time, but I was dealing with that for a while.
In the middle of February, I lost my mother to ovarian cancer.
Needless to say, I've been reeling. How do I express what I've been going through in words? I haven't been able to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) quite yet.
In the meantime, I do have some race recaps I want to share, and hope to get those up soon. I will write about the heart attack and my mother's death when I am ready to write it all down.

I would imagine the online world is a nice distraction some days and a bit of a burden on others. Take time for yourself. Use those awesome workouts to hash things out in your head. I've been thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear about this! :o( Big hugs!!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear about the sad events in your life. Hopefully your husband is on the mend and that he is continuing the healing process. My thoughts to you on the loss of your mother. I have not commented lately, but still read your posts and your race recaps. I hope that running & races have been a place where you can connect with yourself and start your healing.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your mom, and your husband! I'm glad you get that race time to yourself! You need that sometimes ;)
